Preparatory Training Program for the European Train Driver License
Since the beginning of 2016, train driver training in Europe has been aligned. All train drivers must acquire a special license and specific technical complementary certificates depending on each country. Railway traffic in Germany is considered one of the safest in the world and the training in Germany with Deutsche Bahn is globally recognized as exemplary.
With this program, we prepare future train drivers thoroughly for the European license to understand key basics and legal regulations to aid safe railway traffic. It is aimed at people with an interest in working as a train driver with a willingness to work independently and on their own responsibility.
The preparatory training program provides the participants with a broad train driver-specific knowledge split into 10 modules covering the following areas: 
Upon completion of all modules, participants are optimally prepared to continue and take the necessary tests to obtain their European Train Driver License.
The program duration usually runs for 10 days and can be offered in both English and German.
Important note: A proven knowledge of German equivalent to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages will be needed to obtain the European Train Driver License as the tests will be in German. Please note that the tests are not part of this program.
Senior Management Program

With our Senior Management Program, we help rail managers and executives prepare for new challenges and developments arising from VUCA forces in the rail business. Benefit from the expertise of Deutsche Bahn’s Top Managers and visit DB’s top locations and facilities in Frankfurt to gain first-hand experience of DB’s competences.
The program for the 5-day study tour usually looks as follows:
Through a combination of site visits, expert guidance and the opportunity to connect with their peers, the participants receive new impulses and reflect on how the VUCA world affects their everyday work in the rail industry.
The program duration usually runs for at least 5 days.
Upon completion of the program, participants will receive an Attendance Certificate.
