DLG, Strategic Partner for DB Rail Academy in China

This strong and exclusive partnership will bring specialized knowledge through education and training services for urban rail systems in China.
As part of this strategic alliance, the Safety & Risk Management - Incident Investigation and Emergency Management training programs were launched in May 2024 in Dalian, China.
The target audience of the training programs included employees from Dalian Metro Company and insurance companies.
The courses and training sessions, with 30 to 35 participants per session, were conducted in English with Chinese interpretation provided by qualified interpreters with railway-specific language skills.
During the courses, participants gained valuable insights into a range of topics including:
- Value chain concepts, risk and safety management, hazard and incident analysis and root cause analysis.
- Introduction to the Deutsche Bahn system, safety objectives, operations and emergency management, tunnel and catenary safety, and risk assessment.
The training programs took place from May 13 to 23, 2024 and were successfully completed with an assessment.
